Limbe I Council, under the leadership of Pathfinder mayor, Mbwaye Eposi Florence, has lighted up Lower Bosumbo in the Limbe I municipality, bringing smiles to the faces of residents and enforcing security.

Recall that initially, only 10 councils in the South West region were shortlisted to benefit from the pilot Phase of Prolog’s support funds. The Limbe I Council was not among these 10 Councils but suprisingly enough, she is the first council to benefit from Prolog in the entire Republic of Cameroon.

Going by the Regional Coordinator of Prolog for the South West region, Tabe Ako Leo, in a bid to speed up the decentralisation process and to encourage local councils to adhere strictly to the decentralisation process, Prolog had to set a quiz for Councils in the South West Region, which Limbe I Council succeeded  to pass with distinction. This permitted the Council to benefit close to FCFA 50 million.

The Mayor of Limbe I Council, Mbwaye Eposi Florence decided to invest the money in two different projects; one of them being the electrification of Lower Bosumbo village with Solar street lights.
