Rt Hon Datouo Theodore pays condolences visit to family of late Hon Cavaye Yeguie Djibril

The House Speaker of the National Assembly, the Rt. Hon. Datouo Theodore paid tribute to the Emeritus Speaker, Hon. Cavaye Yeguie Djibril eat his palace in Mada Kolkoch, Tokombere Subdivision in the Far North region of Cameroon. He expressed his heartfelt condolences and that of the entire House Chamber to the bereaved family (the Lamidat, the widows, and the children) of the late Speaker, reaffirming the continuation of the payment of the deceased Speaker’s dues throughout the 10th legislature. The Rt Hon Datouo Theodore also pledged ongoing support for the family’s endeavors, urging the heirs to remain united in order to faithfully preserve their father’s legacy.

The visit was attended by the Governor of the Far North Region, Midjiyawa Bakari, the Governor of the Adamawa Region, Kildadi Taguieke Boukar, and a distinguished group of officials, including Minister Ibrahim Talba Malla of Public Contract, Minister Manaouda Malachie of Public Health and members of the National Assembly from the Far North Region.

Also taking the floor, Ibrahim Marga, representing the children, described the Speaker’s condolence visit as a profound honor for the family of the Emeritus Speaker.

On the sidelines of the condolence visit, the House Speaker and the delegation of lawmakers paid a courtesy call to the Lamidat of Maroua. His Majesty Abdoulaye Yerima Bakary warmly received the delegation, praising the gesture as both commendable and a meaningful recognition of the lasting contributions of Hon. Cavaye Yeguie Djibril, who now rests with his ancestors.
