The President of Peoples, Nations and Prosperity, PNP Foundation, Alice Ngah Ateba has said she will urge all voters in Cameroon to massively vote for any candidate who adopts their vision for a new Cameroon on October 12, 2025. She was speaking to reporters during a press conference last September 2, 2025 at Mvog Mbi in the company of Simon Mougnol, Wain Paul Ngam, Leopold Nzeusseu, with a video conference presence of Eric Chinje. She reiterated that, ‘‘we are a non-partisan, apolitical association essentially based on social ethics.’’

Alice Ngah Ateba stressed that ‘‘we don’t have a candidate yet but we may have one that is raising our concerns.’’

Presenting the new vision, the Secretary General of the Foundation, James Medou said, ‘‘The group of university thinkers sat down for three years and came out with this new vision for Cameroon.’’

He stressed that, ‘‘our vision places the nation first, and the state comes second, the culture and so on. It’s based on the idea that there is no point that the nation, the Cameroonian nation can survive without the solution, appropriate solution to the agricultural crisis. The nation is the community.’’

The Prof went further to explain that, ‘‘The modern nation of Cameroon was born with the consent of all brothers and sisters of the Anglophone side to join the Francophone. We have to go back to that decision. That I call The Consent. So, it’s the nation first, which means we have to recognise, to reinstall this consent of the Anglophone people to join us and to build the modern Cameroon. That’s the first step.’’

The PNP Foundation SG said their vision is to make sure there is ‘‘rehabilitation, which means, for example, October 1 should be a National Day, and February 11 should be a Memorial Day. These are the most important dates of the construction of our nation. Secondly, what we think is the Anglophone cry, it’s a question of autonomy. What they want is autonomy of administration and management. And I guess this quest or this claim, it’s something that any community in this country can advocate. So, the Anglophone community was the first to advocate that.’’

He concluded that ‘‘This country or this nation will have a federal organisation or would not be. There is no point we can avoid that. Federalism is something that is mandatory. But it’s not going to be the bilingual federalism, it is going to be a right for any community to manage itself the way it wants it.’’

The Foundation was created by SDO declaration N°054/RDA/J12/SASC/Préfecture de Ngoumou/ of 23 July 2025 for Cameroon vision for the rekindlement of hope. The brain behind this new vision for Cameroon include, Alice Ngah Ateba, Wain Paul Ngam, Eric Chinje, James Medou, Leopold Nzeusseu, Simon Mougnol, Appolonie Ngono and Lazare Etoundi.
