The Minister of Forestry and Wildlife, Jules Doret Ndongo chaired last September 19, 2025 at the Ongola Samba Centre Regional Council in Yaoundé, the official installation ceremony of recently promoted ten senior officials of the Central Services of the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife, in the presence of the Minister of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development, Alamine Ousmane Mey, Minister in charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic, Philippe Mbarga Mboa etc.
Officially commissioning the newly promoted officials, Minister Jules Doret Ndongo celebrated gender equality in his ministry as the promoted officials were, five men and five women. He prescribed team spirit as the watch word in the accomplishment of the forestry and Wildlife missions assigned to them by the President of the Republic, Paul Biya.
The officials were appointed by degrees of the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute last November 5, 2024 and July 21, 2025.
The Minister of Forestry and Wildlife also appointed by arrête sub directors into his ministry.
The Forestry and Wildlife boss said the ceremony is ‘‘far from being a simple formality, this moment embodies the strategic role of our administration in a dynamic of excellence, responsibility and transformation.’’

He reminded the newly promoted that, ‘‘you are now bearers of an ambitious vision for the emerging world, concerned with its natural heritage. I urge you to make an effort to be loyal, efficient, to give priority to the general interest and not to private interests, to give priority to the national interest in the face of foreign interests. I ask you to devote all your energies to the exercise of high functions to which you have just been called.’’
Jules Doret Ndongo reassured the newly promoted of his permanent collaboration and constant support in the discharge of their new functions.
Those commissioned include, the Inspector Number 1 of Forestry and Wildlife, Inspector Number 2 of Forestry and Wildlife, Director of Forestry, director of forests and protected areas, director for the promotion and transformation of forests properties, director of inventory and forest management, the sub-director of the transformation of the forest, sub-director of the valorisation of the exploitation of the forest and sub-director of the protected areas.
The Minister called on them to help in the preservation and valorisation of forestry and wildlife assigned to the Ministry.
