The Senior State Counsel for Meme Justice Affah Emmanuel Annah has issued an arrest warrant against certain, Epie Georges Ntoko for allegedly contravening the offences of Public Indecency, Defamation of character, rape and assault and persistent threat of life. It should be recalled that last week the entire population of Meme Division, South West Region in General and Kumba in particular was gripped with shock and consternation on the news of a controversial sex tape that later on became talking point in all the nooks and crannies of the world as it the video later became viral on social media.
The video is alleged to have been leaked to the public by one of the ‘stars’ in it,  27–year-old Epie Georges Ntoko  a popular businessman in Kumba, whom THE SUN gathered is currently out of the country.
Going by the complaint lodged at the Kumba Legal Department Wednesday, May 31, 2017, by the victim of the sexual assault, through her Lawyer, Barrister Lohtabu Evans Tingom captioned “A complaint against Epie Georges Ntoko for of Public Indecency, Defamation of character, rape and assault and persistent threat of life contrary to the Law”, the complainant opined that sometime last year, while returning from school, she was approached by the said Epie who offered to assist her meet up with her school exigencies, most especially her fees and later promised to call her. The complainant observed that they both exchanged contacts and later in the evening Epie called her and instead proposed to lend her the sum FCFA 30,000 so that she will pay later.
The morbid video that made the rounds revealed a confrontation between Epie and the victim where according to the victim,
Epie removed a knife and asked her to undress and while shouting; “Remove your pants, Sleep on the bed, that’s the only way I will not beat you, you will remain under my control. Spread your legs and insert your fingers in your private and look at what you are doing and confess that you will never do it with another boy”.
As gathered from the video, Epie went further to insert his fingers into her ‘private’ for several minutes while saying: “I am videotaping you because I want the whole world to see how I am beating you up for the crimes you did, as I cut you into pieces, I will not make love with you.”
Despite the fact that she pleaded for forgiveness if at all she had done anything wrong to Epie. The pathetic story as narrated by the complainant through her counsel left the Meme State Counsel with no other option than to issue an arrest warrant for the suspect, Epie George Ntoko.

Epie speaks out
However Epie who is alleged to be out of the country has tried to exonerate himself through an audio message making the rounds on social media. He says he is not the one responsible for leaked tape. He fingered one of his friends whose only names The SUN got as Collins. From the over 3minutes audio recording, Epie is heard saying: “I did not post that video to the public, I was locked up in the police cell after I video-taped that girl, I, only got my phone back after one month. Everything in my phone was deleted”. Epie further observed that, “the same morning I video-taped that girl, I ran to a friend’s place; he is called, Collins. I left my phone at Collins’ place so he transferred the video from my phone to his own phone” he explained. After spending time in police custody, Epie continued that “I met Collins I asked him if he had deleted the video, he said yes’. Epie concluded that since Collins knew that he had plans to leave Cameroon, he suspects, “that’s how he exposed this video in my absence.”
