If we want to be objective and if we want to conduct an outdated debate, the SDF presents a candidate who checks in most of the boxes requested by the people. Whether it is the criteria issued by bishops or prophecies made here and there, Joshua Osih is the man of the situation. Here are some illustrations:
– Joshua Osih is presented by a device, the SDF, which after the CPDM, is the most represented on the national territory.
This is objective. It’s visible. Of the 360 municipalities of Cameroon, the party is today represented in 317 municipalities, not to mention the inaccessible municipalities in the North West, South West and Far North, prey to war. It is the soldiers who command law in 43 municipalities. The party has seized Elecam so that polling stations are no longer included in military barracks and chiefdoms. A total of 1,153 voting offices are currently closed to the free competition and the request for relocation sent to Elecam by the SDF was received regularly. The party ensures effective follow-up.
Joshua Osih is the embodiment of Cameroonian diversity
It is the fruit of interbreeding as we like in Cameroon. He is English and French-speaking, white and black, coastal, who studied with the Grassfields, Southern – having spent his youth in the assemblies of the Far North alongside his father, Pastor in Tokombéré, Mokolo, Maroua, etc. Joshua Osih knows the private and the public. He is a prosperous entrepreneur in the fields of tourism (eco-tourism), hotels, agriculture, aeronautics, etc. He has been an elected official since 2007, elected deputy twice from the main business center of Cameroon since 2013. His electoral district pays most of the country’s taxes. He is one of the rare elected officials of Cameroon not to be in their ethnic circle. Joshua Osih is not divisive. His philosophy is that of the construction of bridges instead of building walls. This is the best link between Cameroonians. This earned him the image of “collaborator” in radical circles when it is the essential of modern leadership that targets the rally.
Politics for him is four things: listening to others (he speaks little and listens more), dialogue even with the opponents to find a compromise (the radicals wrongly accuse him of speaking with everyone), touching local realities (since 2018, he is the only candidate to have toured Cameroon 3 times and to be present on the ground) and finally, sees things for himself, (the things that the current president for 43 years hasn’t).
– Joshua Osih fulfills all the 10 criteria drawn up by the Conference of Bishops of Cameroon to direct the country
These are: integrity, humility, modesty, moral leadership, effective management of the economy, consolidation of national unity, fight against corruption, ability to manage crises, ability to listen and dialogue and respect the rule of law and freedoms.
Joshua Osih is the son of a pastor and was brought up with respect for the doctrine of the Church. He is the embodiment of common well-being, solidarity, human dignity. Since his first participation in the face-to-face election in 2018, he has been the subject of slander, whether internally in the party (G27 members that he had regularly beaten in the primaries in internal elections) and outside (by extremists who do not find him radical to their taste). Yes, Joshua Osih is not an extremist leader. He is located in the center-left and has worked for 7 years to bring the leftist family together in Cameroon. In 2025, no one has ever provided the accusations stuck to it. He filed a complaint at the Ekounou court in passing to one of the influencers who spread this kind of message. The gentleman wrote a letter of excuse that touched the good heart of our candidate. He was accused of winning all public procurement in Cameroon, which is not prohibited. But, in truth, Joshua Osih has never treated a single public procurement in Cameroon, even at the level of the various town halls won over 30 years by the SDF. No mayor of the SDF has ever been summoned to give him a procurement. He was roughly accused of winning the presidential fleet maintenance procurement until his accusers were asked if the presidency of the Republic of Cameroon has a single plane. He was accused of earing in the civil cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic. We are still waiting to see a signing sheet.
Oddly, his former comrade who said he was present in one of these transactions ignored that he would himself be involved in this act of corruption. Finally, he gave up repeating his lie.
Osih was accused of filming or drinking a drink with a CPDM official. What’s normal in the Republic? We accuse him of having companies as if it were prohibited. Indeed, some still have the image of the needy opponent who must live on begging!
The strength of Joshua Osih is to be safe from need. He is the only candidate who intends to respect article 66 of the Constitution and to declare his property. This is proof of his integrity and it is a challenge launched to all those who want to direct Cameroon.
– Joshua Osih is not divisive
Osih is not involved in verbal jouxes and insults that rot around politics in Cameroon. He is open to criticism and is very often a minority at the National Executive Committee (NEC) despite his status as national president. For example, in 2023, he failed to pass his project to modify the party statutes. Osih has a greatness of mind born from his respect for the principle of collegiality. Once the majority position is essential, he defends it outside the college even if he was initially opposed to it. For example, in 2022, he was against party participation in the May 20 parade. But, his camp had been put in the minority, and it was he who finally brought the idea of participation in the parade in the surprise of the radicals of his camp. Cameroon needs people who can bring together all sensitivities. Joshua Osih is a unifier. He made his fortune-person available to politics. He defends and finances battles for equal opportunities, power to people and social justice.
– Joshua Osih is a traditional leader, guardian of our cultures and our traditions. He is a sovereignist and president of the progressive alliance in Africa. He is a member of the organizing committee of the African Political Parties Initiative which is holding his first general assembly in Ghana from August 11 to 14, 2025.
He fulfills the criteria of the prophecy of UM Nyobe in 1957. The national leader said that the second reign will be longer than the first and that it will be made of suffering. He announced that the third president will come to “sell the bird (plane embodying the image of mixing)” and “will be dressed in a short white loincloth (image of a coastal)”, “holding a fly hunt (like a traditional chief)”, “young and polyglot”. Um Nyobe spoke of Joshua Osih who is fluent in 5 languages including French, English, German.
Joshua Osih is the president of the Espérance Jeunesse parliamentary network (REDA) known for the organization of the young parliament. He is a sports promoter and president of a club for under 17s which has always been champion of Cameroon in its category. This earned him to join the Fécafoot Executive Committee as a second vice-president.
The political project of Joshua Osih is called “Mission to save Cameroon”. The candidate already embodies his mission and accepts his reserve. Following UM Nyobe, you should know that other prophecies have been made and it always revolves around a person who embodies the diversity of the Cameroonian people.
– Finally, to stop at this level, you should know that the candidacy of Joshua Osih is carried by the Cameroonian Labour Movement (Cameroon Labour Movement, Calamo) which is composed of 7 union centers on 12 and the movement of progressive forces (MFP) which is composed of all political parties which recognize themselves from the Cameroonian left or the Liberation movements of the country. Afterwards, there will be reconfiguration and clarification of the political scene: the comrades who carry the same vision and who are in various political parties today will be put together. This is why the candidate Joshua Osih offers political tolerance and calls on Cameroonians to overcome the quarrels of individuals.
Joshua Osih has already participated in a presidential election. It was in 2018 and his score was not deemed honorable. We know why. He was sabotaged internally by those who called G27 and he suffered the war in the North West and the South West which cut him 600,000 votes traditionally attributed to the SDF. In any case, the struggles for liberation have never been short. Historical opponents who marked Africa did not come to power after the first attempt. The ancient fought more than a century in South Africa before taking power. Candidate Joshua does not underestimate the tough opponent, the CPDM regime. He just asserts his political maturity and the maturity of his party.
