Shake up at ELECAM: Enow Abrams reshuffles board members

Barely a month after he was appointed as the new Board Chairman of the Elections Cameroon, ELECAM, former governor Enow Abrams Egbe has apparently stamped his authority on the body by orchestrating a major shakeup at the body.
The ELECAM Board chair has ordered the massive reshuffle of the board members, transferring most of them from their regions of operations. Some staff were also affected.
Thomas Ejake Mbonda moves from the Littoral region to join Christopher Tambe Tiku in the South West Region, he swaps places with Dr. Dorothy Njeuma who moves to the Littoral Region to work with Titi Noel from the East Region.

Board Chairman, Enow Abrams replaces his predecessor, Fonkam Azu’u in the North West Region. He will be working alongside newly appointed Mbu Peter. The duo will be replacing also, Sango Isoufa who has been sent to the Adamawa region.
Muhamadou Aboubakar leaves Adamawa region to the West region where he will be replacing Prof. Elie Mbunda. Elie Mbonda moves to the Centre region to work alongside Delphine Changa.
Bomba Nkolo Cecile leaves the Centre region to the South Region where she will be working alongside Mana Nschwangele Jules. Efandene Bekono Pierre Roger moves to the East region from the South Region.
Enow Abrams Egbe was appointment as new Chairman of the Electoral Board of ELECAM last April 25, following a Presidential decree.
According to the Presidential decree, Amugu nee Abena Ekobena Appoline Marie was also appointed Vice Chairperson of ELECAM. Enow Abrams replaced Fonkam Azu’u who has presided over the affairs of the body since its creation in 2006 while Ekobena Appoline replaced Justice Ebanga Ewodo
Enow Abrams is a former Governor and he joined the Electoral Board of ELECAM as a member last May 2016. Before his appointment into the Electoral Board last year, he was Inspector General for Elections in the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Decentralisation since October 2012
