According to Anyiaka Florence; “W have done so many projects, so this time around we intend to put smiles on kids in orphanages and give them hope for a better tomorrow. We will be going there as a team to play with them, give them gifts and help clean their surroundings.
It’s should be noted that, the first ever outreach program organised by Creating a Smile Foundation was on January 13, 2018 where they hosted three orphanages in Kumba and offered them food stuffs, drinks and gifts.
Quizzed on why she created the foundation, Anyiaka Florence told The Sun that it is her calling to put smiles on the faces of people and bring out the beauty in them. This, they do through bringing dreams to reality for those who have talent and passion which they can’t develop for themselves.
Citing some of the challenges that come with her work, Anyiaka Florence said finance has always been an obstacle considering the huge task. She called on people of goodwill, partners, sponsors, and volunteers to assist them in their upcoming outreach program.
“There are so many things people no longer use that may be of importance to others, sometimes they just throw them away. These things can actually put a smile on someone’s face”, Anyiaka added.
