Frederic Debord takes over as Orange Cameroun CEO

Fréderic Debord is the new CEO of Orange Cameroon. He replaces Elisabeth Medou Badang who has served in that capacity for the past four years resulting in having achieved much too early according to some government officials.
A press release expedited to us recently disclosed that following a Board Meeting that held in Douala Wednesday February 14 the change of baton was made possible to be effective on Thursday February 15.

The release states that the Board of Orange Cameroon is proud of the excellent results obtained by Orange Cameroon under the mentorship of Medou Badang during her four years at the helm, so they wish her lots of success in her new functions.
The release detailed that because of her brilliant performances Elisabeth Medou Badang has been promoted to the intercontinental rank of the Executive Committee of Orange Middle East and Africa as senior Vice-president and spokesperson in charge of several countries in the regions.
Fréderic Debord, the release stated, was on the other hand, before the new appointment, Chief Operations Officer of Ooredoo Kuwait. He has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications sector and has been at the helm of several operations in North Africa, Eastern Europe and the Caribbean.
The Board also congratulates Fréderic Debord on his appointment and equally wished him success in his new mission to continue making Orange Cameroon a major player in the socio-economic development of the nation.
