The Nigerian Consul General to the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon, H.E. The Consul General was speaking on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the Chamber of Commerce in down Beach Limbe.
H.E. Ibrahim Mohammed Bashir while addressing the numerous challenges faced by the Nigerian community in Limbe urged them to cooperate with Cameroon authorities to fight against terrorism in the North West, South West, Far North Regions of Cameroon and also in the Gulf of Guinea. The Consul General also called on the Nigerian populace in Limbe to stop the application of dual nationality because the Constitution of Cameroon doesn’t permit such. He also appealed to his brethren to always take their children back to their various villages in Nigeria rather than stay and hide the children away from home, urging them to be united and respect one another, while respecting the norms of their resident society.
