According to Mbonifor Kennedy, the senatorial post should be rotatory to avoid monopoly in the Mezam division, the North West and Cameroon as a whole.
The Mezam division, it should be noted has seven (7) subdivisions that is; Santa, Bali, Tubah, Bafut, Bamenda I, II and III. Mbonifor Kennedy argued that Bali, Santa with their alternates in Tubah and within have had their own taste of the Senatorial national cake through presidential decree. Taking into consideration the numerous challenges facing candidates of the CPDM Mezam IV in winning elections, Prince Mbonifor Kennedy Ngwa proposed to the prime minister that there is the need to create a special constituency for Tubah subdivision. The section president of the Tubah constituency, Professor Peter Abety who could not raise the topic joined the rest of his comrade to acclaim the motion by the Mezam IV section president. It should be noted that, Bafut-Tubah share one parliamentary seat with two councils.
He also announced that CPDM Bafut joined ELECAM in the registration of voters and so far, the division has helped register 20,500 voters; an increase of 200 this year. He also announced that some elite of the Bafut subdivision headed by Justice Damain Ambe procured ID Cards for some CPDM militants to increase the registration of voters.
