Newly promoted soldiers instructed to combat separatists

Newly promoted soldiers in Limbe have been instructed to combat criminals and separatists whose sole aim is to destabilize the territorial integrity of the nation.
The call was made by the Senior Divisional Officer for Fako, Engamba Emmanuel Ledoux, as he presided over the epaulette award ceremony of newly promoted defense officers, following the presidential degree No. 806/27/12/2018. The colorful ceremony took place on Tuesday 1, 2018 at the Manga Williams Avenue.
Among those promoted were two public forces, three knights of the Cameroon order of merit, 51 sub officers, 25 Marines, nine officers, five Gendarmeries, four supervisors and five sub lieutenants. The epaulette ceremony was supervised by Commander Major of the Rapid Intervention Battalion, BIR assisted by Commander Nga.

The event was graced with a military March pass and also witnessed the presence of the Government Delegate to the Limbe City Council, the Commander of Naval Base, Divisional Officers of Limbe I, II and III, Mayors of Limbe I, II and III subdivision among other dignitaries, as well as relatives and friends.
