Senator Regina Mundi prays for peace in North West

Elizabeth Regina Mundi, one of the CPDM senators appointed by President Paul Biya for the North West region has prayed for peace to return to the North West Region.
She was speaking on new year eve while extending new year wishes to the population of the NW “Well I take this opportunity to wish everybody in the North West Region a very happy new year and to wish that, Jesus Christ who is the Prince of peace will rain down his peace on us and we will open up our hearts and our minds to accept the peace which comes from God Almighty and we can only do this if of course we accept to work for peace ,work for development and let our Region come out as the number one that will benefit from everything that our president has laid down for us”.

According to her, since the head of state had promised equal opportunities to all in education, health and other aspects it means that the inequalities that had arisen in the past because the Anglophones had felt marginalized will be reduced. To this effect she called on all Anglophones to open their hearts to accept the peace that comes from God almighty.
Regina Mundi, the astute politician has been in political leadership since the 70s when she first served as the Bafut/Tubah Secretary of the then, CNU Party and later subsection president for Bafut and Section President for Grand Mezam at the time, from 1986-1996. Regina Mundi was also instrumental as a member of the National Bureau of the WCPDM and CPDM Central Committee member before the last congress of the party qualified her for the Political Bureau.
